Ember does not collect personal information
Ember has no sign-up, ads, analytics or remote collection. Voice, screen and conversation processing for the Ember assistant runs entirely on your Mac. This policy explains what stays on your Mac and when it connects to the internet.

The Ember developer does not collect your personal information, so there are no processing purposes or data categories. There is no sign-up, advertising identifier, usage analytics or automatic error reporting.
2Information processed only on your Mac
The information below is processed only on your Mac while you use the features and is not sent to the Ember developer.

3Retention and deletion
The Ember developer retains no personal information.
Conversation memories, run logs, measurements and settings remain only on your Mac until you delete them. Deleting the files or Ember data folder removes them immediately. If you also delete the data folder when removing Ember, nothing remains. Audio recordings and screen captures are never stored.

6When Ember connects to the internet
Ember connects to the internet only in the cases below. Receiving servers may obtain standard connection information such as IP address, access time and device or app type. Processing follows each service’s policy.

7Mac permissions and their uses
macOS asks for permission when you enable the relevant feature. You can revoke it at any time in System Settings › Privacy & Security. Revoking permission disables only that feature; it does not affect game launches.

8Your rights
The Ember developer holds no user information, so there is no information subject to access, correction or deletion requests. You can view and delete records on your Mac yourself, and revoke permissions at any time.
9Security measures
Voice, screen and conversations are designed to stay on your Mac. Downloaded AI models are checked against fixed versions and file hashes before use. The Ember assistant’s advanced response engine listens only on this Mac (127.0.0.1) and cannot be accessed externally.

This website does not use cookies or analytics.
To display pages, it loads fonts from Google Fonts and scripts from jsDelivr, which sends standard connection information to those servers. The hosting service may also keep standard access logs. Each service’s policy applies.
